This is one of the most baffling curiosities you will attend or participate. Conducted masterfully by spirited Arapates members, each annual exhibition focuses on a different animal like "cow expeau" or "donkey expeau" in the past years. The elected beast of the year has the right to prints sculptures and paintings, but also an artistic performance like the famous Mimi Labeyrie last year. This is accompanied by mind-blowing music, jazz bass player like Helen Labarrière or a Banjo concert of Jacques-Yves Rehault and always a few Donkeys and Bears songs by Gigi Bourdin and his friend Laurent Jouin. At the end of the party a big auction sale of various items closes this cultural event of quirky humour.
