Original restaurant offering medieval recipes revisited in Moncontour.

This original restaurant will take you back to the Middle Ages! It proposes medieval recipes revisited (fresh herbs and vegetables soup, white poultry brouet or andouillette with Breton string), but also burgers and sandwiches. All with a lot of local products. The house also serves aperitifs with ancient names and flavors, including the famous hypocras. To prolong the experience, you can even put on period tunics, sewn by a renowned costume designer. In fine weather, the covered terrace allows you to have lunch in the open air.

Nous étions en groupe pour dîner dans ce restaurant médiéval. Bien accueillis nous avons eu la surprise de trouver sur chaque chaise un costume médiéval dont chacun pouvait se revêtir. Plutôt sympathique et cela met dans l'ambiance. L'apéritif est aussi un cocktail qui peut-être était bu à l'époque. Les plats qui suivent sont dans le même ton.
Bel endroit pour déjeuner ou dîner en accord avec la ville de Moncontour, médiévale.

Beautiful discovery that this restaurant of local in beautiful medieval city of Moncontour. It is possible to go back in time and dine as in the Middle Ages, and even through clothes at the time. In this holiday period, we enjoyed oysters from Paimpol and a delicious duck breast with orange. Warm atmosphere.
