ROUZIC ISLAND
It is part of the Seven Islands archipelago and is located at its eastern end. On board, the gannet is king, since the island is home to over 20,000 couples! These birds live part of the year there, at its North end, as far as possible from the man. It is the only place in France where they breed... Rouzic therefore constitutes their nest. The record is the same for other protected animal species including the puffin. Be careful, you cannot land on the island of Rouzic; it is extremely protected. However, the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO) allows you to observe the famous birds as you were there using a system of video cameras. For this, go to the office of the LPO on Great Island to monitor wildlife live.
