ROSARY BEACH
Popular, lively beach in Plérin, renowned for its seawall, merry-go-round, ice-cream parlors and restaurants.
Stretching over 2 km, it's a popular and lively beach, with its seawall, merry-go-round, ice-cream parlors and restaurants. The people of Brioch flock here at the slightest ray of sunshine, for a breath of fresh air, a swim or an aperitif. The little seaside resort was developed at the beginning of the 20th century, thanks to the initiative of industrialist Lucien Rosengart and his architect friend Paul Marteroy, who were the first to build villas here. Others have sprung up, all in the same style. These stone "Rosariennes", with their turrets and bow-windows, are not lacking in charm.
