TALBERT GROOVE
A geological curiosity shaped by erosion and the currents of the two surrounding rivers, where curlews can be observed.
A geological curiosity, this thin spit of sand and pebbles juts out 3 km into the sea. It has been shaped by erosion and the currents of the two rivers that surround it, the Jaudy and the Trieux. Classified as a nature reserve, you'll be able to observe numerous nesting birds, including curlews, little terns and gravelots. The round trip on foot takes around 2 hours. Since 2018, a 40 m-wide breach has cut the river in two: to cross it safely, please observe the crossing times, posted on site and at the Maison du sillon.
