This castle was built in the 16th and 18th centuries. According to legend, it was been one of the lodges of King Arthur and his follower, the round Table Knights. The name of this castle is connected to the name of King Arthur's palace in Britain: Carduel. The building is surrounded by a park, bordered by a pond and is protected by wood. The only surviving element is a round tower of the old castle, which was incorporated into the chapel. The large central building dates from the seventeenth century and the square tower at the west was built in 1890 by the Champagny family. The Kerduel Castle is located about 3 km northwest of Lannion, along the road between Lannion and Pleumeur-Bodou.
