Contemporary restaurant with various menus and excellent service in Tagsdorf.
At the entrance to the village of Tagsdorf, you can't miss the restaurant, housed in an imposing Sundgauvian building. The advantage of La Couronne is that there's something for everyone, whether you opt for the two set lunch menus at €10.90 and the business menu at €17.90, the weekday evening market menu (starter, main course, dessert, €19.90) or the more gastronomic menu (€29.90, €35.90 or €49.90). The cuisine of young chef Benoît Ligabue is inventive, while respecting local Alsatian produce. On the menu (and the list is far from exhaustive!): frogs' legs (with white wine, garlic and cream), snails, duck foie gras in a homemade terrine or beef kidneys flambéed in Cognac. The restaurant is also a big hit on Saturday lunchtimes for its calf's head with gribiche sauce (€16.70). A good point, in fact a very good point, for the decor, with a traditional, winstub-inspired first space and a very beautiful, luminous, contemporary-inspired veranda! In harmony with the menu, a skilful blend of modernity and authenticity. In the dining room, impeccable service from Thiébaut and Lorie!
