The château boasts a superb contemporary park of medieval inspiration, which has been awarded the Jardin Remarquable label.

The estate features 64 hectares of gardens and forests surrounding a 15th-century fortified house overlooking the Trieux estuary. The first floor, open to the public, is dedicated to the history of the château and medieval daily life. The second floor houses temporary exhibitions. At the end of your visit, you'll stroll through the attic, under some amazing roof timbers. Guided tours and shows are organized in season. The superb medieval-inspired park, which has been awarded the Ecojardin and Jardin Remarquable labels, offers spectacular views over the meandering river.

Le château de la Roche Jagu est une forteresse impressionnante classée monument historique du XVe siècle située à Ploëzal. Le château a fière allure et surplombe l'estuaire de la rivière du Trieux. Un jardin remarquable à visiter gratuitement en accès libre pour de belles balades en pleine nature. Un parcours est numéroté pour se repérer facilement par des balises noires et jaunes. De nombreux points de vues offrent des panoramas impressionnants sur les méandres du Trieux, le château et toute la vallée. Un lieu pour les amateurs de nature, d'art et de tranquillité pour se ressourcer. Différents jardins sont à ne pas manquer celui de la palmeraie vaut le détour. Une visite incontournable au coeur du Trégor est à prévoir entre Paimpol et Pontrieux.

Très grand parc gratuit. Tout est très mignon. Dommage que certains espaces n’ai pas été accessibles lors de notre venue puisque pas encore la saison, mais du coup nous reviendrons en été pour voir le reste ! ☀️
