The château boasts a superb contemporary park of medieval inspiration, which has been awarded the Jardin Remarquable label.

The estate features 64 hectares of gardens and forests surrounding a 15th-century fortified house overlooking the Trieux estuary. The first floor, open to the public, is dedicated to the history of the château and medieval daily life. The second floor houses temporary exhibitions. At the end of your visit, you'll stroll through the attic, under some amazing roof timbers. Guided tours and shows are organized in season. The superb medieval-inspired park, which has been awarded the Ecojardin and Jardin Remarquable labels, offers spectacular views over the meandering river.

Très bel endroit, parc et château ayant inspiré le château de Gargamel dans les Schtroumpfs. Chiens acceptés dans le parc mais pas dans le château.

A great palace to visit! Every floor of it is very well taken care of. You can walk around in the gardens and you have a path that takes you to the river. I went with my boyfriend and his mum, we had a beautiful afternoon! :)

Lieu paradisiaque ; pas un bruit aux alentours sauf celui du vent dans les arbres. La vallée du Trieux qui s'offre aux regard.
Une nature et des jardins extraordinaires qui servent d'écrin à un château en grès rose du moyen-âge. La visite guidée est exceptionnelle.
A découvrir sans aucun doute pour se dépayser ; est-on en Bretagne ou en Écosse ? En tout cas, on passe un moment hors du temps...
