A corner of Mexico and Canada in Alsace, that's the promise of the Tex-Mex restaurant Rio Grande, where David and his team of friendly chicks will give you a warm welcome! Located in the heart of downtown Thann, the restaurant offers grilled beef, bison, duck and chicken to delight every taste bud. Another house specialty is the Tex-Mex-style poutine (a typical Canadian dish), where you're served a piece of meat topped with melted cheese, gravy and fries. Stir, shake and enjoy, according to legend! When it comes to toppings, the house offers traditional or Mexican fries, rice, salads, peas and red cabbage. Rio Grande also offers appetizers ideal for early evening aperitifs: shrimp fritters, fried onions, nachos, guacamole... As for desserts, there's also a selection of homemade American cakes. Finally, if you're stalling, as the proportions served are generous, you can take your doggy bag and... your bottle home with you! A selection of wines from the USA, Mexico and Chile is served by the glass or bottle. Great Tex-Mex cuisine with Canadian specialties for a refreshing change!

Les quantités servies sont vraiment copieuses et on ne manque pas de vous proposer d'emballer vos restes pour les rapporter chez vous, ce que je trouve très sympa.
J'y suis déjà allée une demi-douzaine de fois et je n'ai jamais été déçue.
Il y a une petite terrasse en été qui donne sur la place De Lattre mais juste au bord de la chaussée. J'ai préféré ne pas l'essayer même s'il n'y a pas énormément de circulation en soirée.
Je conseille vraiment ce resto.
