Legend has it that Count Ferrette, having seen three lights at the top of the fir tree where the relic of Saint Ubaldo rested, promised to build a chapel. After two centuries of work, the building is one of the most representative of Gothic art in Alsace. Its large portal with 150 scenes and 500 characters is unique! The Collegiate Church is a priceless safeguarded heritage, largely restored thanks to the action of a foundation created for the restoration of this monument.
