Surprising address in Plouguiel preparing a traditional French cuisine with fresh, local and organic products.
Located a little above the port of La Roche jaune, the Mockingbird is a surprising address. If the restaurant does not look like much outside, the atmosphere inside is warm, with its panelling, fireplace, furniture as if it were at home and a play area for children. The tables are well spaced, to preserve the privacy of each one. We eat a traditional French cuisine, concocted from fresh, local, organic products if possible and always tasty. Beef bourguignon, rabbit with mustard, pork cheek nuts... The Mockingbird likes to bring back to life dishes that have fallen into disuse. In summer, make way for grilled meats and fish. The menu is tightened: three starters and three main courses that vary regularly, according to the seasons, and one main course that changes daily, according to the arrivals. A few brewery style proposals complete the menu. The plates are very nicely prepared, decorated with vegetables grown on site. A delight for the eyes and taste buds. Reservation strongly recommended on weekends.
