PLOUHA CLIFFS
These cliffs, culminating at 104 metres at the pointe de Plouha, are the highest in Brittany
They are the highest in Brittany, culminating at 104 meters at the tip of Plouha. These steep walls of gneiss and granite, where peregrine falcons nest, are dotted with creeks and beaches, such as that of Palus or Bonaparte. It was from this cove that the Shelburn resistance network evacuated 135 Allied airmen who fell in France during the Second World War. Don't miss the picturesque harbour at Gwin Zegal, one of the last two pile moorings in the area, where boats are moored to tree trunks planted in the sand.
