CHAPEL OF ST. JAMES OF MERLEAC
Saint-Jacques de Merléac chapel with century wall paintings and stained glass windows, one of the most famous in Brittany.
It was once an important stop on the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. It was built in the early 14th century and has 15th-century wall paintings and stained glass windows, granite panelling and altars, and a 16th-century wooden pulpit. The interior is divided by two rows of ogival arches into three parts forming a nave and aisles. The chapel, which is one of the most famous in Brittany, is classified as a historical monument.
