EBIHENS ARCHIPELAGO

An excursion to discover the Ebihens archipelago, a small jewel of the Emerald Coast.
It's the jewel of the Emerald Coast. The Ébihens archipelago ("little island" in Breton) is an extension of the Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer peninsula. It is accessible at low tide via a sandbar. Don't forget your boots and tide tables for the return trip! The main island covers 20 hectares and is privately owned, but can be crossed from south to north. You'll come across a chapel and a 17th-century defense tower. At the northern tip, you'll have a splendid view of Saint-Cast-Le Guildo, Cap Fréhel, Fort La Latte, Ile Agot and Saint-Briac-sur-Mer!

Arrival at the end of the peninsula to the tip of Chevet on a huge grassy parking. Take the steps and walk barefoot on the sand wet the km to reach the Ebihens Islands low tide. Great pleasure especially with children. Everything is guaranteed except the ascent of the sea. Everything is indicated at the beginning of the hours of tide.
Extraordinary landscape with view over the entire bay. Pleasure also discover the oyster parks and chatting with these professionals fishing.
You can also get some sin cockles and spade to picnic.
Then return to contemplate the superb Abbey of Saint Jacut from the sea.
Very pleasant day.
