SAINT-MICHEL MILL
A small chapel set opposite the current mill and dedicated to the Archangel bearing the same name once stood on this hill. Destroyed around 1800, it was demolished in 1806 and its stones were used for the construction of the Sablons cemetery. This windmill built for the first time after 1822 became one of the three windmills of the town; Moulin de Malgré-Tout, Moulin de Fountains. Built to compensate the lack of the local river flow, the current mill dates back to 1875 was operational until 1910. Thanks to the association of the Amicale des Moulins, the building is regularly maintained and lives thanks to festivals, as the mill festival in June. On this occasion, the mill is put down to work while people dance, listen to good music and enjoy good light meals. In summer, the association also organises free guided tours.
