This superb pink granite castle stands on an islet, in the heart of a green land dotted with chaotic pink rocks. Built in 1892 by the Polish engineer Bruno Abdank Abakanovitch, this neo-Medieval-style manor house is characteristic of the large holiday homes built at the end of the 19th century on the coast. The building, with its complex volumetry resulting from several extensions, is made of granite from the La Clarté quarries. Well visible from the beach of Tourony, the castle of Costaérès is on the poster of many postcards.

Situé face à la plage de Tourony à Trégastel Coeur de la Côte de Granit Rose le Château de Costaérès sur son île accessible à marée basse depuis la plage de Tourony à Trégastel.
Propriété privée ne se visite pas.

Vue sur le château de Costaérès

Château emblématique de la Côte de Granit Rose, surnommé le "château de la Belle au bois dormant" par le personnel de Amor Navigation qui commentait l'excursion réalisée vers les 7 Iles. Vu sur le chemin du retour, il m'a bien fait rêver tant il était magnifique, rose sur son îlot de verdure posé sur une mer si bleue et transparente !
