RENOTE ISLAND
Go there and contact
A tree-lined peninsula of immense, impressive pink granite chaos, offering an easy three-kilometre walk.
Once accessible only at low tide, the island became a peninsula in 1885, with the construction of a causeway linking it to the mainland. The vegetation consists of maritime pines and moorland. A covered walkway is a reminder that the site has been inhabited by man for many millennia. But the island is best known for its immense pink granite chaos. The tour of the island is a lovely, easy stroll of around 3 km, offering breathtaking views of the Sept-Îles, Coastérès castle and Ploumanac'h.
