Neo-Gothic style church built on a Latin cross plan located in Beaussais-sur-Mer.
This neo-Gothic style church is built on a Latin cross plan. It stands out from the crowd while it houses a statue of St. John the Baptist, an eagle-lutrin from the 18th century and a marble and stone baptismal font. Let us recall that the ancient church of Ploubalay was created in 1163 by Pope Alexander III. Under the Ancien Régime, the parish of Ploubalay belongs to the diocese of Saint-Malo. The new church of Ploubalay was created in 1869 to highlight the independence of the church from the abbey of Saint-Jacut.
