LA TOUR DE BRENAN
It is not known if it was used as a watchtower or a telegraph station in Beaussais-sur-Mer
While walking in the polders, you will see this tower standing out on the horizon. Beautiful from the outside, take the spiral staircase to reach the second floor and enjoy a magnificent view of the Bay of Beaussais. You will also find an orientation table. Its function and its history remain very mysterious because we do not know if it was used as a watchtower or a telegraph. The only certainty is that the corner stones come from the quarry of La Ville-Guérif in Trégon and that it was built around 1870.
