With the Maison des Toiles in Saint-Thélo, the atelier museum du Tissage is part of the Lin road. It refers to a territory that extended from Quintin to Loudéac, passing through Uzel, Saint-Thélo and Chatelaudren, which produced, between the th and th centuries, Brittany's finest quality canvases worldwide. Here you will see two beautiful pieces of loom and an exhibition referring to the latest spinning workshops in the region which ceased their activity during the second half of the th century.

Definitly worth a visit. Small but very interesting museum with lots of information about local textile industry (keeping handweaving alive during industrial revolution, inventive thinking, used methods) and local history. For small fee (EUR 5 in 2023) you can visit both this museum and the nearby Maison des Toiles (also about local textile industrie). All information is in French, but there's translation apps to help you there, and the musea also offer small, free booklets in English with an overview of the story.

Un petit musée consacré à l'art du tissage artisanal. Il révelle tout un pan assez méconnu de l'histoire de la Bretagne. C'est très bien documenté et les métiers à tisser sont assez impressionnants.
