Between the locations on the highways and the covered car parks, the city of Brest has around 6 500 parking spaces. To suit the greatest number, the Brest agency has found solutions to avoid fines! While being resident city centre, it is easy to choose the label "resident" (up to 25 € per month for a permanent parking in green area in your residence area). On the other hand, if you work in the city centre, there are other options: possibility to park in the green area all day for 3.50 € or all week for 16 €. Otherwise, the agency also offers a small individual ticket/, the Piaf, which is bought and is recharged in the shop "Stationner à Brest", or, simply, directly on the website (www.monpiaf.fr). The latter, available for all, allows you to park everywhere, green or orange area, without constraints (no need for currency, nor card, nor going to the parking ticket machine!). The units are cut per minute once the Piaf launched. Isn't that beautiful? For those who are just passing through downtown, the ticket machines operate from Monday to Saturday from 9:00am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 6:30pm. Do not hesitate to ask the agency to indicate the various laybys and the 7 car parks in the city to you. Remember also that the limited time on an orange area is 2hrs and 7 days on a green area.
