Authentic and historical address to taste tasty and copious pancakes in Brest.

A Brestoise institution, opened in 1922 by Marianne Boënnec, the Crêperie Moderne is one of the oldest in Brest. The room is authentic, sober and equipped with benches. The pancakes are prepared in front of you in an open kitchen. The menu is certainly simple, but the pancakes are succulent and copious. Since sugar butter is the best way to recognize a good pancake, Petit Futé validated the test and appreciated the tasty pancake batter. Special mention on the salty side: black wheat with scallops was delicious and generously garnished. On this evening of Candlemas, the welcome was warm, the team young and dynamic in an intimate atmosphere by candlelight.

it is true that we arrived 3/4 hour before the end of the service, but nevertheless we had a welcome is not very friendly, we were dispatch time to eat a pancake each and a bottle of cider, patrons is can be welcomed and people of passage, wanting popular regional cuisine, are not very well you to move, go to see elsewhere
