Chef David Bergot's cuisine in a restaurant of the Océania hotel, in the rue de Siam, in Brest.

This restaurant belongs to the Océania hotel. In a contemporary, muted and discreet seeting, it offers a very tasty cooking. The menu is short but complete, offering a choice of three or four meats and fishes as main courses. For instance, you can hesitate between a sea bass loin or a pollock steak and a rib steak or an Angus beef fillet. As side dishes, the choice is yours between homemade chips, Basmati rice and fried noodles. The desserts list is well-stocked, with, for instance, a lemon cheesecake, a chocolate fondant or spring rolls, a caramel with salted butter pie. The quality-price ratio is excellent, especially if you choose a set menu.

Quel excellent plat cette "lotte double cuisson" !! Très belle carte de poissons, c'est plutôt rare. Ce restaurant est vraiment à recommander ????
very good address in contemporary setting with a superb aquarium: relaxed welcome and very inventive cuisine so much in the presentation (my duck coated with spices resembled large and poetic cockchafer with opened an establishment in fried leaf manioc!) that in surprising and healthy flavours: the dish for 2 starters is beautiful and delicious: we will get there!
Our first visit in this establishment. By the superb aquarium, which only entering year. For setting southerly wind one-way in a snack, no tablecloth on the tables. The menus 13.18 and 23 without choices of a working restaurant. The acceptable, beautiful presentation dishes, main courses miss seasoning, salt is reserved for touch (€100 for two). When the service, I do not dare in speaking, the smile must be at an additional cost. In short I will not go back, and will not recommended for my friends.

A pleasant setting with a splendid tropical fish aquarium and designs design. Side dish, it is a success. Sometimes fine enough for the kind that the restaurant is to give. Cooking Saint Jacques is controlled. Presentation successful dish. Desserts well-prepared. Original aperitif dish but really too expensive. All in all, the quantity does not justify nothing prices. The fall of the VAT has seems makes chess. Quite deplorable service. Around, it is good, but you should not be in a hurry, you must not be attentive service and even less loan of its under. The menu could be packed to offer more original and consistent with the prices. A dozen 19th oysters to some steps of the Iroise sea, it is flight. This restaurant is to give yourself a sort that it does not have. Too bad!
