Founded by Olivier de Kersauson, the Tour du Monde is a Brest institution, a place where everyone comes together for a beer or a bite to eat. At every hour of the day, the atmosphere is different. Fridays and Saturdays are for music and parties, while Sunday lunchtime is for Brest locals and their families. Open every day and "whatever the weather", the welcome is friendly and the team efficient! The plus? A large terrace with a breathtaking view of the port!

La base !
A la fois café/bar, restaurant et "boite de nuit". Alors la nourriture est limitée est pas fameuse mais tout les reste est au top ! La déco, la grandeur des lieux, l'ambiance et la localisation. Idéal pour les événements types anniversaire et les groupes. Je recommande !

Outside the very modern building frightens slightly. Once inside it is felt that this restaurant has character. The atmosphere is GO (even a midday Sunday) and the waiters pleasant and available. The bar is huge, the large bay windows overlooking the port and the wall vegetable however gives an impression of space, which is very pleasant. If the prices are very affordable the cuisine is basic (fried Mussels, club sandwich...) but what we really come for that?

I do not understand the previous opinion so much. Personally, I have neither Rolex nor a way of life nabob and often makes me in TdM between pal. Since then, reopened, one breaks sugar on this bar and its staff, in particular. It is a little gratos and I dedicate absolute loyalty to them... you begin again to have the atmosphere of yesteryear... Indeed for the conservatives, must change... I love Me!

hello has all,

of Brest for 30 years, I have allowed me to give an unfavorable opinion on the bar " the monde".



although the new buildings are new, but that is not enough to compensate for the lack of courtesy of the waiters. This bar walk (under return alone apparently) but it is felt that the Brest-native path that comes at sea to be served a small beer after an exit is no longer the come. however beginning was very happy to find them!



today the waiters greet you when you have Rolex with wrist, but if you N are not equipped with the latest fashion, you are smiled quickly when you leave (leaving a tip nevertheless) attention would not be necessary to!



Brest is not St tropez and them never!



advice: find another bar on the port, has choice!
