BREST MÉTROPOLE HABITAT
With over 18 500 accommodations, including over 16 700 rental housing units, this organisation, chaired by the Mayor of Brest and directed by Georges Bellour, specialises in habitats for people with modest income. Mainly concentrated on Brest city, Brest Métropole Habitat is also present in the other municipalities of metropolitan Brest and Brest Country. To apply for accommodation, simply fill in a file (to be downloaded on the website or to be take from the headquarter) and attach with it the requested administrative documents. A commission then examines your file and takes a decision on the allocation of the housing. Brest Métropole Habitat has 3 agencies and 10 reception offices (8 in Brest, 1 in Guipavas and 1 in Saint-Renan). Good to know: It also offers residential and homes for handicapped and elder people, shops, communal premises and garages or parking areas. You can also become owner thanks to Tymmo, the commercial trademark of Brest Métropole Habitat, dedicated to ownership.
