ARSENAL AND MILITARY PORT

Arsenal and military port of the French Navy offering an exceptional guided tour aboard a French warship.
The Brest arsenal groups together all the military and naval installations of the French Navy based in Brest. Today, it is one of Europe's oldest strongholds. Despite the bombardments of the Second World War, most of its buildings remain standing, starting with the former submarine base. Lovers of the sea, navigation and shipbuilding will appreciate this exceptional guided tour, which will reveal, among other things, the dry docks in which some of La Royale's finest jewels, such as the aircraft carrier Charles-de-Gaulle, were built. Organized by the Préfecture maritime, this tour is the perfect opportunity to visit the naval base of the Cité du Ponant, and, why not, to climb aboard a French warship, operational activity permitting! Please note that this is an active military zone, so photos are not permitted during the visit, and a valid form of identification (ID card or passport only) is required at entry for French, European Union and NATO citizens. For all others, a request must be made approximately three weeks before the visit (contact Tel. 02 98 22 06 12).

Depuis la première fois, l'emplacement de l'entrée à changé. Elle se trouve beaucoup plus loin.
Ce qui est dommage, c'est que nous n'avons pas pu monter sur un bateau.
