PEN-HIR TIP
Go there and contact
A popular point for locals and tourists alike, offering breathtaking panoramic views and a unique bird sanctuary.
From the top of the Pen-Hir point, one overlooks jagged cliffs over 70 m high. If this site is very popular with tourists in summer, it is appreciated by the locals, even in bad weather! A marvel that also reveals the famous "Tas de Pois", each element of which has a name: Bern-Id (heap of cereals), Pen-Glas (green head) and Ar-Forc'h (the fork). These rocks shelter an ornithological reserve where gulls, cormorants, petrels and guillemots nest in spring. Clever: at sunset in good weather, the panorama is breathtaking!
