In the heart of the Montagnes noires and the Aulne valley, the Monts d'Arrée - Montagnes noires mountain bike base has created 9 permanent signposted trails of 4 levels (very easy to very difficult), which add up to 191 kilometres of loop. They evolve between sunken paths, forests, typical hamlets and numerous panoramas on the slopes of the Nantes-Brest canal. You can download them on their website, or get the topo-guide at the tourist office of Châteauneuf-du-Faou. There are 6 other mountain bike bases like this one in Finistère.
