A church with murals representing important scenes from the life of Christ in Châteauneuf-du-Faou.
Saint-Julien church was built on the site of a 15th-century sanctuary, then rebuilt by Jules Boyer in 1878. He retained the old bell tower dating from 1737. Decorated between 1914 and 1918 by the famous artist Paul Sérusier, friend of Gauguin and founder of the Nabi movement, the church's baptismal font and murals depict important scenes from the life of Christ. Saint-Julien church is open every day of the year, and can be entered either via the main porch or the street-side door.
