La Coquille is an institution whose reputation extends beyond the Concarneau region alone. This gourmet restaurant, located on the fishing port side, offers a tasty and inventive cuisine, based on seafood of course, but also a market and seasonal cuisine. Cruel dilemma to have to choose between the different starters, main courses and desserts that are offered to you and whose names are promises of pleasure such as this crab tartlet with coriander, passion fruit, mousse and grows young beets, this lobster roasted with kari kid, creamy rice vanilla and star anise or dessert the palette of sorbets in the style of the painters of Cornouaille... The restaurant welcomes customers in a completely renovated, wooded and warm setting. Bar and rooms also enjoy a breathtaking view of the port. All these are good reasons to go in search of La Coquille, located outside the tourist circuit (take the direction of the fishing port, cross it to the left bank of the Moros quay).

Les plats oscillent entre le correct et le tout juste acceptable : tout est relativement fade (mais salé), poisson trop cuit, dessert au chocolat clairement pas fait maison. Les portion sont vraiment limitées, ce qui serait entendable si chaque bouchée amenait son lot de saveur. Ce qui n'est pas le cas...
Dommage...
