Abbey full of history with remarkable gardens with medicinal plants in Dalouas, a must in Finistère.
Founded in the 12th century, this abbey is the perfect place for cultivation in lush surroundings. You can admire the abbey church, the Romanesque cloister and its fountain, where stones steeped in history stand side by side with medicinal plants from all over the world. The site has been awarded the Jardin Remarkable label and the Victoire d'Or at the Victoires du Paysage 2021 awards. Since 2016, a medicinal tree garden completes the picture. Your walk will be enhanced by a photo exhibition outside (renewed every year) and a variety of topical themes inside.

Super intéressante. Les rites funéraire suivant les religions, les pays, les différentes cultures, au fil du temps. On découvre et apprend plein de choses. Si vous en avez l'occasion, faites le avec la médiatrice culturelle ????.

Malheureusement seul le jardin est visitable et bien qu'il soit bien entretenu et intéressant avec ses plantes médicinales, je suis restée sur ma faim lorsque la visite s'est terminée...
Un bel endroit mais qui mériterait plutôt de se nommer "Jardin de l'abbaye" plutôt que l'abbaye tout court.
