TEMPS FÊTE

This is a festival not to be missed if you come on holiday to Brittany, Finistère. Temps Fête, which takes place every two years, is a major maritime festival that brings together the old rigging on the quays of Douarnenez, on the port of Rosmeur. It thus enhances the maritime heritage and its diversity. For the record, it was in July 1986 that the festival was born in this city where the magazine Chasse-Marée was born. There are many boats of all types, from the smallest traditional canoe to tall ships. They will offer you a permanent show with races, parades and manoeuvre competitions. Every day, on the quays, there are exhibitors, a play area for children, entertainment and also areas dedicated to maritime and Breton culture. Animation and music will also be at the heart of the festival with popular music from Brittany and around the world. In a concern for accessibility and the social and solidarity economy, the festival offers free admission to all activities, exhibitions, concerts and activities within the site. Free shuttles are also available to bring you from the car parks to the entrances. A little something extra: it is possible to board traditional boats during the festival, a proposal that is also accessible to people with reduced mobility.
