GOUEL AR FILMIOU – FESTIVAL DE CINEMA DE DOUARNENEZ

Born more than forty years ago, the Douarnenez Film Festival is a festival unlike any other, a festival that explores a different people every year. For its 43rd edition, it will focus on the peoples and struggles in Greece. It is through a selection of films that the festival proposes to promote a better knowledge of the culture of the people in the spotlight. On the programme: about 70 films, debates, meetings with filmmakers, actors, writers..., conferences, radio listening, concerts, a book space, exhibitions, activities for young audiences, workshops, the village of associations... The themes discussed necessarily lead to the exchange of ideas.... The festival, which invades the city in August, sees its attendance increase every year. In 2019, the theme on Algeria even allowed the festival to record a record attendance! Will there still be as many festival-goers and locals in 2020?
