SAN-RUMON SAINT-RAYMOND CHURCH
Go there and contact
In the heart of the city, this church, built of granite, it seems had been built on the ditch of the former castle. Its bell tower, rebuilt in the eighteenth century, all the same bears the date of 1631! It is also one of the many Baroque bell towers of the diocese. The nave, on her part, consists of a polygonal chancel dating back to 1607 and octagonal pillars support the arches of the sixteenth century. On the south front of the church, and on the west porch, you can see three sculpted boats, symbol of the origin of the financial power of shopkeepers: the sea.
