A place where many birds can be observed, well appreciated by ornithologists and photographers.
During your visit to Fouesnant, you will certainly go to the Cape Coz mudflat, a wonderful place in which you can observe many birds like the ruddy turnstone, terns, herons, but also brant geese depending on the season. It is a paradise for birdwatchers... This stretch of sand was originally broken, turning the cape into an island in the middle of the nineteenth century. With high dams in 1840 and 1871, the sandy strip reformed and a shelter favouring the deposition of silt was formed north of the strip. To be discovered on foot or by kayaking on sunny days!
