LES VERGERS DE KERMAO
This is a family that has a smile. Founded by Yves and Jacqueline Saliou in 1991, the cider des Vergers de Kermao was born of a desire to highlight a local product: the apple apple apple, you will have understood it. The 1981 hectares of orchards planted between 1988 and in Gouesnac'h north of Bénodet bore fruit. Marketed in 1994, for the first time, cider will not have waited for more than two years to naturally integrate the geography of AOC Cornwall. From the start, it becomes the flagship of the most popular home of connoisseurs. However, let us not rest on his laurels: the range has since expanded to other nectars such as the pommel and lambig. In 2009, Brieug, the son of the house, takes over from his parents and with him, other novelties come out of the vats: Awena (white apple brandy), while the ciders family grows with the cider of Fouesnant (half-dry), the cider of Kermao (raw cider) and the latest born, version 33 cl that one can drink selfishly and, above all, without scruples. Contact is another asset that the family (many times lent to the local and regional competitions of Quimper and Fouesnant) puts forward with direct sale on the property "which makes it possible to make known our quality approach, to tell our apple varieties, to explain manufacturing to finish with a commented tasting". The invitation is launched. This is a nice step on the Cidre Cidre cider route where you will be greeted with open arms and waiting for other surprises (frost and apple juice, for example).
