Restaurant offering homemade chocolate ballotins and the famous Père Georges omelette.
For some twenty years now, Michèle and Jean-Georges Matter have been ambassadors for the culinary traditions of the region: flammekueche, Alsatian roast beef, waedele (pork shank) or Father Georges' famous omelette are the essential ingredients of the menu, to which are added the chef's suggestions. As a starter, don't miss the snails and frog legs. Then let yourself be tempted by the grilled snout stuffed with black pudding, the house's great asset! The desserts, strawberry tiramisu, entremets with three chocolates, caramel pavement and the chef's surprise are worth it. Jean-Georges Matter is a confectioner by training and offers his homemade chocolate boxes for sale every year from Christmas to Easter.
