The forest of Huelgoat extends over nearly 1,000 hectares. Numerous marked paths help us to find our way in this tangle of trees and rocks, in the middle of which stand enormous granite blocks. It is among this maze of stones and plants that we can reach the Roche tremblante, a place of obligatory passage. With a single movement of the shoulder, it is possible to move this enormous block of stone weighing more than 100 tons. Other mysterious beauties await you in the forest, such as the Silver River or the Fairy Pond...

Beautiful place that Huelgoat forest, this site one of my favourite is in Brittany. I find that the forest is even more impressive and more mystical than that of Paimpont. Between the huge granite blocks, the river and waterfalls, the forest became a magical place.
