An exotic garden featuring a collection of over 2,500 plants, two-thirds of them from the southern hemisphere.

In 1897, Georges Delaselle, a Parisian insurer and passionate about exotic plants, loves the atmosphere of Batz island. He noticed the exotic and rare plants from all over the world and decided to construct a garden dedicated to these plants. In the process of development, he updates a necropolis dating from the Bronze Age. When he died, a luxurious oasis replaced the original arid dunes. An association renewed the garden and in 1997, the coastal conservatory became the owner. Here, you will see a collection of more than 2,500 plants with about two-thirds from the southern hemisphere. The garden is divided according to species, each of which invites you for a visit. It is a genuine conservatory of the world's biodiversity.
