CIDRE DE KERANTEREC
Originally from Morbihan, Jean Jaffré, a farmer, does not marry a daughter of the country but a daughter of Finistère! Belle dote, feel smiling among connoisseurs! Rightly so. Then, Jean then inherits land by sea and created a cider at the Forest-Fouesnant. A man of passion, he is one of those who will give much of their time to the Cidricole and Recherche Research and Development Committee (CIDREF) in order to list local cidricoles varieties to obtain the controlled appellation of origin "Cornwall cider". For three generations, the Jaffré family has been exploiting its approximately three hectares of orchard to produce the cider of Keranterec. Today, the cider was picked up by her son Guy and his wife Claude who develops his cider in the rules of paternal tradition. Although AOC is no longer on the agenda, cider is always good and noticed in the regional competitions (Fouesnant). Located next to the campsite, the workshop is ideally located just steps from the beach. A small glass of cider, raw or half-dry, or apple juice after bathing? Without hesitation!
