LAMPAUL-GUIMILIAU PARISH ENCLOSURE
Monument housing a sumptuous baptistery in carved oak wood
For more than two centuries, competition between the parishes of Guimiliau and Saint-Thégonnec was fuelled by the spirit of the steeple, and now we can admire their superb enclosures. The first thing to look at is the monumental calvary, built in the late 16th century and depicting the life of Christ through more than 200 figures. As for the church, only its steeple still dates from that period, the rest having been renovated in the flamboyant and Renaissance styles of later centuries.

A place that I will really like to find a day because I absolutely loved. To mention the parish of St Thégonnec, monumental dimensions and Lampaul Guilmilliau, much smaller, but equally charming.
Moreover, they belong to Breton tradition and " pardons".
