A place of pilgrimage recognized in all Brittany, a church dating from the 16th century which shelters a polychrome wooden altarpiece
Located 3 km from the municipality of Faou, the village of Rumengol was attached to it in 1970. It is a place of pilgrimage recognized throughout Brittany and it is not unusual to cross many pilgrims there. There are still two pardons, which are held on June 15 and 15 August each year. On the site, it would be on the location of an ancient Druidic place of worship. Dating back to the sixteenth century, the church has been changed over the centuries and has since been classified as Historical Monuments. It houses a magnificent polychrome wood retable of the seventeenth century and has a rich religious furniture. The outdoor chapel, named the Coronation Chapel, was erected in 1880. As for the calvary, it dates from 1443 (there are the arms of Quélennec-Poulmic families).
