PEULVAN LANVAR - MENHIR OF LANVAR
3 metres high, 2 metres wide and 1 metre deep, made of granite, split in two, it has been classified as a Historic Monument since June 1962. The Lanvar menhir, which is freely accessible, is dated 3,000 years before Christ, in fact, it was erected a priori over the period between the Neolithic and Bronze Age. Its main function, like that of isolated raised stones, would probably be to be an indicator of water, since this stone is located next to a stream, or to indicate a sacred place, some think it combines these two functions at the same time.
