THE HOUSE OF KERHORRES
A museum in an old farmhouse in Relecq-Kerhuon, a good place to discover the history of the commune and its inhabitants.
This former farmhouse was purchased by the commune of Le Relecq-Kerhuon in 1985. Renovated and refurbished between 1987 and 1990, it now houses the association Les Amis de la maison, which organizes permanent and temporary exhibitions. Three rooms can be visited to learn more about Kerhorre's past: one presents a reconstruction of an old-fashioned farmhouse, another recounts the importance of traditional fishing activities in past centuries, and the third contains testimonials and objects recounting the history of the commune. Temporary exhibitions focus on other aspects of local heritage.
