KERSCAO MANSION
A defensive granite building with about twenty loopholes, the Kerscao manor house was built in the 15th century. It has a double enclosure, its enclosed courtyard has a second enclosure consisting of walls 3 to 4 m high, surrounding two hectares of gardens. Inside, you can see a large vaulted cellar, a monumental spiral staircase (5.10 m in diameter), a ceiling decorated with a granite rosette, as well as a capital decorated in Kersanton. It should be noted that the building, the adjoining chapel, the walls of the courtyard and the dovecote are classified as historic monuments. The owners have been restoring this property since 1977, to restore it to its original splendour.
