The Grande Troménie de Locronan, which takes place every six years, is one of the most important pardons of Brittany. The last date of 2013 and therefore we will have to wait 2019 for the next! Of Celtic origin, the Troménie is a journey spanning 12 kilometres on a marked path of sacred stones, granite crosses and statues of saints. La Petite Troménie, 6 km walk, takes place every year between Grand Troménie and the Second Sunday in July. On the day of the procession, you can admire the cross and banners of Locronan and the surrounding parishes. The inhabitants are the parent of their most beautiful traditional Breton costumes, which are in no way symbols of folklore but rather a sign of attachment to the ancestors.
