MUSEUM OF ART AND HISTORY CHARLES DANIÉLOU
A museum where you can discover the secret of Breton costume-making and a collection of paintings by local artists.
Inaugurated in 1934 by Charles Daniélou (1878-1953), former mayor of Locronan and initiator of this art museum, the building underwent a complete restoration in 2008. Since then, the museum's two floors have been devoted to Breton painting and sculpture, through which the region reveals itself through the various eras and artistic currents. Henri Barnoin, Désiré Lucas, Odette Pauvert and Jean Fréour are all on show. A must-see on the Painters in Cornouaille route.
