KERAZAN MANSION
This manor house is the only one offering a complete view of a late 19th-century Breton estate
This vast 16th and 18th century manor house was bequeathed to the Institut de France by Joseph Astor, descendant of an illustrious family from Quercy. A true place of memory, the Manoir de Kerazan is the only residence that allows visitors to discover the whole of a Breton estate from the end of the 19th century. The buildings have remained intact, as have the furnishings and the collections, including the superb collection of Quimper earthenware, which includes a life-size cello, a unique work in the world! The Manor also houses several paintings by great Breton masters.
