This museum is an exceptional witness of the industrial history of the region
Closed in 1954 after a bad sardine fishing season, the Le Gall cannery remained in its current state, frozen, after half a century of operation. It is an association, supported by the municipality of Loctudy, which has worked to save the premises, machines and equipment, classified as a historical monument in 2016. The museum will open in 2020. It is an exceptional witness of the industrial history of the region, promised to become an unavoidable tourist objective.
